All of the funds raised by The James Project go to support the ministries we sponsor, all administrative and support costs are underwritten separately.

Mission:
The James Project is a tax-exempt corporation seeking to effectively support widows and orphans in developing countries by providing for basic needs in a Christ honoring fashion. The James Project's mission is to rescue the orphaned, the abandoned, and the abused, and is committed to providing a home, comfort, safety, security, love, and daily needs for third world street children.

History:
The visions to found The James Project came through Myron McKee, who with his wife Ann and their seven children own and operate River of Life Farm, a trout-fishing resort on the North Fork River in south central Missouri. When McKee was seven, a tragic accident took his father, and the loss forced the family from their rural home into inner city "projects" housing. Later, as an adult, his first-hand observations of the heart-breaking plight of third world street children rekindled his empathy for widows and orphans and led him to search for a meaningful way to help. The result is the James Project.

"The James Project's vision goes far beyond our first orphanage in Guatemala and the school in the Kibera Slum of Nairobi, Kenya. I hope we will eventually open 100 orphanages in third-world countries around the globe" - Myron McKee, Founder of The James Project.
